Basically have a lot of item's to cure petrification. And keep your health high. And as always before ANY big battle, fight tons of normal monsters to boost your exp.

easiest way is 2 have armour that has protection against its attacks, or equip ribbon. Use ur Aeons and beat the 2 things supportin Jecht 1st.He wasn't so tough.
