When he walks over the vents that are emitting gas you need to shoot a dynamite arrow at the vent to get it to explode on him. Then he'll go up top and throw dynamite at you so you need to use your quick draw and shoot the dynamite as soon as it leaves his hand. To get him to stop shooting at you and throw the dynamite hit him in the head with your rifle a few times.
