i wanted to know how and where you go to horse race. and why cows will not milk.

i don't know where the horse race is but ur cow is not giving milk bekuz it is drie u have to make her pregnant!

There are no horse races in this game and you have to give your cow a miracle potion from the ledger

First of all you can't race your horse and with cows, if you have one that has been giving milk for a while and then stops, order some miracle potion, and she will get pregnant, and a few days after she has the calf she will produce milk again.
As for new cows I am not sure.

it has to be an adult cow.

for cows, they are dry after one year and my answer for there pregnancy is up at the top of this question page (or near the top). The only difference is that you ignore the part I put about waiting 18 days until they are old enough ( you only ignore it if it is a cow you've had and already milked and crap).
