I'm at the second case (the very beinging), all the black guy does is tell me not to get killed, but then he dies and i Lose. How do I beat this part?

Is that the second fight with Carlito? Brad tells you not to get killed and that he will handle it, but he's full of crap. You have to shoot Carlito as much as possible or Carlito will end up killing Brad.

I emptied my 19 bullets on the joker and he still killed brad ! Any other tips ?

I've only used the handgun on Carlito. Try finding a better point to shoot at him. I went to the opposite side and a bit behind him. That made him focus more on me rather than Brad and his weak little potato gun.

Are you sure you have his energy down to 0% before he suddenly runs off? By what you describe, it sounds more like you are running out of time before Carlito's energy is depleted. You don't have to do anything about Barnaby. Just wear down Carlito as fast as you can. Are you able to get a more powerful gun on the way from your last save point? I don't want to spoil anything for you but there are some more powerful guns out there that you may be able to pick up on the way to Entrance Plaza for the fight.

I like to use the gun off the inmates jeep. or go to the the gun store in the north plaza,their you can get shotguns,handguns,and even sniper rifles.

if i were you i would just simply try the sub machine gun that u can pick up from a couple of places, make sure u shoot him before he shoots u. If u do he will absorb the bullets and just take take them helplessly kind of how he left u in your first encounter if u were hit by his gun.

I'm not sure if you've resolved this issue or not, but for anyone else struggling with this, here's what I did. This is pretty cheap but it works. When you run up the escalator, and make the left, Brad should already be engaging Carlito. Use this opportunity to go into the sports store to the right and grab a hockey stick. Now, I'll give you your bearings again. You should be in the sports store, Brad is probably running back and forth from cover, getting his ass kicked by Carlito. Carlito is down the walkway on the right. In front of you is a pillar. Run behind it and equip the hockey stick. If you get it lined up right, you can fire slapshots at Carlito and he won't be able to shoot you at all. Once you get the aim down, it won't take you long to finish him off. I hope this helps you. Plus, this way you can save all the ammo for harder bosses.

im also stuck on this, tommorow i will try the hocky stick idea, i manage to get 3 handguns and they get his health down low but then i run out :( lol
ive even tryed chucking plates :S

get a sniper rifle from the gun shop and just shoot him in the head a couple of times from the cosmetics shop at the top of the escalater
